We are excited that our renovation of 575 10th Street into the new home of John Howard and Foundry Comox Valley has garnered a VIREB award nomination!

This transformation was the culmination of grassroots efforts to bring a Foundry centre to the Comox Valley, which unites community partner organizations to address the health and wellness needs of young people aged 12 to 24 and their families. A unique but dated and worn building is now modern, attractive, clean, safe, and inviting – an asset for the whole community.

The project was led by Colleen Ross, Director of Finance, who brought together a team of professionals including Denise Mitchell of Denise Mitchell Interiors and Cale Lacasse of Lacasse Construction.

We are proud of the results of their hard work within a strict budget, and hope to bring home an award on April 6.  We’ll keep you posted!
