Support Foundry Campbell River and enjoy a delicious lunch at the same time! The John Howard Society of North Island and Community Partners invite you to a salmon BBQ fundraiser on Friday May 5 from 11 am to 1 pm at Spirit Square. All proceeds from this event will go to Foundry, Campbell River’s new youth services centre, were young people ages 12-24 and their families can access primary care, mental health and substance use counseling , and social services such as job search and life skills supports.
Event sponsor Marine Harvest Canada will be serving Grilled Teriyaki Salmon Burgers and Grilled Teriyaki Salmon Noodle Salads for a minimum donation of $5.00 each. Beverages and a side salad by donation will also be available.
The Robert L. Conconi Foundation is matching donations to Foundry Campbell River up to $25,000 until the end of May. This means that funds raised at the salmon bbq will be matched, along with any other donations to the John Howard Society of North Island for Foundry Campbell River made by May 31.
