Youth Outreach provides flexible, confidential support in the community. Whether you need support finding or accessing activities or services, or just someone who will listen, an Outreach Worker can help.

Youth Outreach workers help navigate systems, connect youth to services, and offer support with substance use, anxiety, life skills, or safety concerns. The service is voluntary, confidential, and flexible. In Campbell River and the Comox Valley, Youth Outreach workers provide support in the community in a way that works for you.

The Program

 Support for youth needing advocacy, or a safe place to talk.

Youth Outreach Support

Flexible support: Meeting you where you are comfortable (parks, coffee shops, walks).

Guidance: Help with life skills, anxiety, substance use, and navigating daily challenges.

System navigation: Assistance finding community services and advocating for your needs.

Confidential connection: A non-judgmental space to talk about whatever is on your mind.

Practical help: Safe transportation to and from appointments when needed.

Crisis support: Assistance with substance use issues or sexual exploitation concerns.

Locations: Campbell River, Comox Valley.

Eligibility

Youth Outreach is open to:

Youth ages 10 to 19 in Campbell River or the Comox Valley.
Youth needing support, guidance, or advocacy.

All you have to do is call us. You do not need a formal referral from a doctor or school to access support.

No. This is a voluntary service. If someone has told you that you have to participate, we can help you figure out what to do about that if you like.

Support, anxiety, life skills, substance use, finding community services, advocacy, sexual exploitation concerns, and more. If you need help with something, an outreach worker can either assist directly or connect you to the right service.

No. Youth Outreach Support is funded and provided at no cost.
