Do you just spend time with my child, or with me too?

Answer

I will work with both you and your child. The child and youth mental health therapist will also work with your child. Together, we will work to make sure everyone is getting what is needed.

Are you available if an emergency comes up?

Answer

No I’m not a crisis service. We’ll work at lessening the crises you may be having in your family. Through the day to day support, I will help you so that there may be fewer crises.

Can you come help me in the early morning?

Answer

Yes, my hours are flexible. I can help you with early morning routines, and as well can be available in the evenings.

What can you do for my child?

Answer

One of the things I can do is help advocate for your child with his/her school, psychiatrist, social worker, other community services, and Mental Health therapist. We work together as a team to support you and your child.

What are some of the things you can do for my family?

Answer

Provide in-home service to you and your family, help you with parenting skills, assist you to access other services, for example housing assistance and/or financial assistance. Together we will develop a plan that addresses your needs.
